Extended Care Program
For the convenience of our families, SEAS provides an Extended Care Program (ECP) for children who remain on school grounds after daily pickup. All students must be picked up after school unless they are involved in organized and supervised school activities, or enrolled in the ECP. At the end of each school day, unless participating in a qualifying school activity, students who are not picked up from their classrooms by 3:10 pm will be taken to the ECP by the classroom teacher or aide.
Within the ECP, SEAS seeks to provide a supervised environment for students, giving them the opportunity to complete homework, study, or enjoy some recreation at the end of the school day. All SEAS behavioral policies for students are in effect during the ECP including the prohibition of non-school technology (i.e. personal electronic devices and phones are not permitted). It is a privilege to attend the ECP and all children must obey the rules and regulations in order to remain in the program.
Please refer to the Parent/Student Handbook for a comprehensive overview of the program.
